Recently, the newest product in the AGNIQUE^® MMF range became available in granular form. MMF G contains 32% active entrapped within a matrix comprised of a high percentage of natural components. The AGNIQUE MMF G product can be applied with conventional ground or aerial granular application equipment to mosquito-producing areas. The granule design allows the product to penetrate canopies formed by trees and other foliage, ensuring that the product reaches its desired target. Once in contact with water, the active is released and self-spreads to form a thin monomolecular film. Possessing the same effectiveness as MMF liquid, field tests have shown MMF G can persist for up to 22 days, thus providing long lasting mosquito and midge control.

AGNIQUE MMF G Mosquito Larvicide and Pupicide is a new tool for mosquito control. It is effective on all species of mosquitoes and chronomid midges that breed in standing water and require the air/water interface in their lifecycle. MMF G offers the advantage of being effective against both larvae and pupae while also preventing the successful emergence of adults from the water. The key to this full life cycle control is having film that persists for the duration of mosquito maturation. For most mosquito species, the larval and pupal life stages will be controlled within 48 to 96 hours.

AGNIQUE MMF and MMF G may be used in a wide range of habitats as long as the water is standing, not free flowing. The approved habitats include potable water and irrigation waters, permanent and semi-permanent waters, irrigated croplands and pastures, and waters with outlets to natural water bodies. Both products may be applied to standing fresh as well as brackish waters and are acceptable for use in residential communities and backyards.
